An Ode to Arthropoda

An ode to Arthropoda — the most successful and species-rich group of animals on the planet: crustaceans, arachnids, insects, centipedes. 80% of all animals are arthropods. They've got external skeletons made of chitin and sometimes reinforced with limestone. Their body parts, often organs, are separated into distinct segments. Growing means splitting their skeleton open and starting fresh. So many to include, so little space.
